This is a Michigan must do! Our guide, Tim, was informative, funny, and made the experience even better. The scenery was beautiful, we've seen dunes, but not like this. Lastly, the ride itself was enjoyable and fun! At first our teens weren't sure about the idea, didn't think it would be worth the hour wait, they quickly changed their mind once we hit the trail! Fun for all ages!

Great whole family activity! So much fun, we rode twice. Bob and Tara were good guides with lots of interesting facts to share. Seems like wait time can vary significantly with day of week and time of day. Recommend picking off-peak day and time if you can. They were very accommodating for the wheelchair user in our group (have to transfer over from chair, but don’t have to climb up)

Omg. It was so fun. Our driver was amazing, sense of humor lol we loved the experience. We did the dune rides in Saginaw yrs back but would never go back there. Me and my Husband were thinking about bringing our kids and Grands to experience.

Full disclosure, I am a local and have been on the Dune Rides many times. That being said, they never disappoint, and our last adventure was with family from out of town. All of them loved it!!! Mac Woods continue to consistently deliver a fun, family experience. If you haven't gone, you are missing out.

For 2020 the rates are $20 for adults, $12 for kids 11 and under.
$18 pp we paid last weekend - well worth it and everything in the gift shop was 50% off!
I have major back issues and full arthritic issues and am on full disability. I had NO trouble at all! The jeeps are on AIRPLANE tires so they ride perfectly smooth over the dunes! No trouble at all. Super fun! You'll love it! Bring your camera!
I think I saw a ramp for specially equipped buggies. I have back, neck and health issues and had no problem with the ride. My disabled brother-in-law who is a large man enjoyed the ride. Call ahead to tell them your issues. Let them know and I'm sure that arrangements can be made.
About 18 to 20 people.
Call to be sure. Looks like others have said October 4.
I just called. Last ride leaves at 8. They said to be there by about 730pm for tickets. So they dont sell out on you.
We will find some fulgurites every once in a while. We don't dig for them unless they are good size, otherwise they just crumble when trying to get them out.
Yes we are open every day until October 8th, 2018. After labor day our hours are 10 to 4.
We only take reservations for tours and school groups that are over 20 in size. The general public is just first come, first serve. Come in and buy your tickets and we let you know the approximate wait time, before the ride goes out. We will call your name to let you know when to load up the vehicle.
They will continue rides until October 6, 2019. Hope this helps.
Sorry we only allow service dogs. We do have a kennel that you can lock your dog in while on the ride.
Don't think so. But you would not normally need to. Even on a busy day, things move pretty quickly.
I didn't think so
Sorry, our insurance ends on October 7th.
I dont know about any coupons, but would be surprised if there were any. There are a few nice places to stay in town like Dunes Waterfront Resort which isnt crazy expensive. It is only like a 5 minute drive away
Nope. We didnt need a reservation for a party of 18!
You only need reservations for groups of 20. We visited today, with 4 people and got right on. Great fun.
Its not that rough but I would er on the side of safety and say probably not.
We typically hire 18 and older. Thanks for the inquiry.
