This is a great place to visit with your family. The cave tour takes about an hour and is very informative. The cave itself is beautiful and diverse with easy walkways for all abled ages. There's also a nature trail with a lot of interesting plaques, a human sundial, and a fun fossil themed mini golf course. The whole family loved the experience and wants to to back again.

A fantastic place to visit for any age. If you enjoy nature tours, this comes highly recommended. It has been about 25 years since I last visited, and it didn't disappoint bringing my 9 year old this time around. The drive to here can be worth it in of itself, many small towns surrounding Crystal Cave with plenty of beautiful scenery. The mini golf course is another activity I would recommend weather permitting.

Overall cave experiment was good. You will go about 7 levels down , during this you will see cool formations and learn history about cave. You will also get to see some rocks which glow in dark which are not native to the cave on at a display at far end of the cave.

There is a total elevation change is 70 ft down and 70 ft back up during the one hour tour. Going down into the cave the first series of stairs is about 30 steps, which will bring you to the first level of the cave. You will then take a couple minute break before going down a short ramp that brings you to the second level of the cave. You will be on the second level for about five minutes and will then head down to the third and final level of the cave. There are two ramps and about 20 stairs total that bring you down from the second level to the third level of the cave. You will stay on the third level for a majority of the tour. Going up to the surface from the third level you go back up the stairs and ramps to the second level which is where the final room is. You will spend about 5 minutes in the final room and then head back up the ramp to the first level of the cave. You will take just a moment before going up the rest of the stairs up to the surface.
