Great view of the Mackinac bridge and you're standing on a big rock that makes the lake shallow for a few dozen meters. It's a neat stop to make on a drive.

The boardwalk provides great access to the shore of Lake Michigan. We only saw one other person, but the summer season was just beginning. For those interested, birds are abundant along the boardwalk.

Manistique is a gorgeous little town on lake MI. The boardwalk is about 5 miles long (I believe). Scenery is beautiful. If you get the chance to visit, definitely take a stroll on the board:)
