Be VERY careful not to let your dog drink streams at this site. Our dog has just been to the vet for amoebic and bacterial infection resulting in extreme vomiting and persistent diarrhea. Clear Creek was her ONLY source for bad water.

Great place to walk around the lake. Looks like it would be nice to fish there too. Took about an hour to walk all the way around. I think it's just over a mile, mostly flat, but you do have to cross the creek (by jumping on the rocks).

A nice and not very crowded end of South Mountain State Park. One trail goes around the reservoir and the other goes up a few miles to a sign. No horses are allowed beyond this point. I think it may be game land.

Very refreshing place to visit. Not too crowded. Several trails that are well marked; some sections are fairly strenuous while others are very easy. Staff are friendly and helpful. Interesting markers and displays. Great place for a few hours or days. Also offer equestrian trails and camping area though I didn’t use that option.
