Yes, very. Walking distance to downtown but far enough away that it's still quiet.

Yes..it is on the west end of downtown near residential area so it is quite and cleanliness is great

As previously stated, close to downtown but far enough away that it is pleasant. Rooms are clean and well cared for. No carpeting in the hotel rooms so the floors stay MUCH cleaner. All if the staff that I have had interactions with have been friendly and helpful. Boise Downtowner is my first choice of hotels when I stay in Boise (at least 5 times a year).
