Holiday Inn Express Boise-University Area, an IHG Hotel

We had a great stay at Holiday Inn Express Boise University area. The hotel itself is in good shape. Staff is very helpful and attentive. We had one issue with getting our room cleaned on the 2nd of 3 days that took 3 trips to the front desk but it was finally resolved.

Positive: The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful with suggestions of stuff do and restaurants close by. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. It was a good location for downtown and attractions we wanted to go to. Negative: No complaints at all

Positive: Location is phenomenal close to pretty much everything. Check in staff is fairly friendly. Our room appeared very clean. Free breakfast in the morning is pretty awesome they provide a little bit of everything for everyone and the lady was very welcoming. Negative: The floor we were on had an unusual burning smell. And our room seemed to always be out of hot water so luke warm showers only with a heater that blows out cold air ¿¿

I stayed here for a few nights for work and enjoyed my stay. The front desk staff were very friendly and allowed me to check in early. The room accommodations were pretty standard and I got a room with nice mountain views. The lemon water in the lobby was a wonderful touch! The breakfast was pretty standard as well, it was refreshing to see a hotel offering breakfast as many aren't right now! The location was nice as it was very close to a running trail and it was nice to run through the university campus. The workout room was a bit smaller than other hotels I've stayed in but I have yet to stay somewhere with a wonderful workout room... I would definitely stay here again if in Boise!
