You can just walk in but I would definitely just book it online, they have a list of times so you can really decide when is the best time for you, we went early to walk the trails before the cave tour it was beautiful
Yes, walk-ins accepted and appreciated, however, a short waiting time can definitely be expected if u just show up due to the required tour guides being busy giving a tour at that particular time. It is best to check online for what tours are available at which time. Some parts of the Caverns are only available during certain times of the year and/or certain times of the day. (Bat activity, or ice and water factors due to the seasons, are the main reasons there are so many different tours thru so many different caves.) I have lived my whole life locally and toured the Caverns more times than I can even remember, and still to this day I have not seen all there is to see nor have I done all there is to do regarding the Blanchard Springs Caverns and Recreational Areas. Definitely worth checking out if you have not been, and if you have its worth going back because you will experience something different every time.
What are the tour times?
Walk ins are accepted but maybe check times ahead of time so you don't have to wait long. We got lucky on timing.
I would recommend booking a tour, as we ended waiting an hour for our tour. If you do walk in and have to wait, there is plenty of scenery to take in.
Just be prepared for a wait if you don't mind. There are trails and other things to see while you wait.
We just walked in but it was mid week which helped. There are 3 different tours to pick from so I would go on line and check them out to. It's a BEAUTIFUL cave!!!
Walk-ins are OK, but i recommend you book online.
Either way will work but sometimes they get booked up. Definitely go though- it's an amazing tour. Make sure you check out the springs below the cave as well!
If you just walk in you might be waiting a while. We showed up just as a tour left and the one after it was sold out so we had to wait 2 hours. Online is best if you don't want to wait around. However, there is a short movie to watch to the left of the gift shop and there is a cool exhibit to the right of the shop that explains a lot of the formations and original explorers. The exhibit is worth visiting if you have never been there before. I would set aside 15 to 20 minutes to read through the info there.

How much is the Discovery Trail? The trail that's the longer pathway trail, not the wild tour.
