Very neat and scenic little train ride. Highly recommended for kids. Volunteers are very friendly and informative about the trains history. Looking forward to their plans for expansion.

We had a fun time. All the employees were super kind and fun! Was truly a good time and the gift shop had so many things for trains lovers of all kinds! We even got to see a turn table at work. I almost forgot to mention the scenic views were very nice as well! Thanks!

A worthwhile visit near Wisconsin Dells. Run by volunteer train enthusiasts who care deeply about the history and legacy of the steam locomotive. The small-scale fully-functional steam locomotives pull replica train cars. Each car has …Thanks!

Pretty cool place for a short visit. The train ride is neat but don't expect a pumpkin patch in the fall. We enjoyed the ride a lot and there were some toys up front while you wait.

The entire train ride experience is about 40 minutes. Part of the trip includes time at the end of the line at Western Springs where passengers are invited to deboard the train to watch the locomotive turn around on the turntable and listen to the engineer and conductor talk briefly about the locomotive and railway.
Weekends starting June 13th.

When we visited the museum, there were no model trains, except those for sale. They do have special events when model trains are displayed to the public. One such event that is coming up features Thomas the Train.
