Very clean cabins, amazing pools and even better staff! We will definitely be back for sure! The kids love it!!!

The cabin needs a deep clean and some new carpet. There is alot of spiders and ants. The bathroom sink does not drain. The furniture old and dirty it just feels dirty in the Cabin#3. We were quoted a price of 1150 and when arrived it was 1357.00 so it really cut into money for other events. We had no outside furniture. The pans to cook in are burnt barely usable. The pool is nice. Probably won't ever go back.

We have been going to Birchcliff Resort since 1990s. Every year we made beautiful memories with the help of the owners and staff. We were there again this year after pandemic. The owner and the staff especially Wendy were very nice , helpful and accommodating. The front desk staff was very kind and smile on her face made it easier to verbalize our concerns or questions. The ground staff helped us from the first day until we left . Thank you for building more fire pits with chairs for the families to bond at night and cook s’mores.. I will highly recommend Birchcliff Resort. Thank you for all your help and outstanding services.

Google says two stars equates to “Ok” but the only reason our stay can be counted as “ok” is because they provided a $100. We booked a private cabin through Airbnb for a weekend with our two dogs and 3 month old. The week of we were told our cabin was “upgraded” for free but that just meant we were put in a duplex cabin with thin walls. The group staying there also brought their two dogs and we’re allowed to use a cables out front so their dogs were tied up on our shared porch and front yard area making it difficult to come and go. When we checked in, there was no one in the office, just a map with arrows to our cabin with a note saying the cabin was open and keys were in there.. very unsettling. We went to the office again the next day to grab dvds and waters, again no one was there. We also called twice for different reasons, and no one answered. The only time we saw someone who worked there was after we asked our Airbnb hosts if there was anything specific we had to do to check out because we wanted to leave early. They did offer for us to switch cabins, which was kind, but would’ve been a hassle and the quality of the cabin was another reason for our early departure. Genuinely think camping outdoors would’ve been cleaner and more comfortable. The space felt dirty, we didn’t take our shoes off, everything had a sort of ‘film’ on it. All mattresses needed to be replace, you could feel all springs and edges. The sheets were paper thin and scratchy. It was just poorly maintained. This may have been nice 30 years ago, but it needs major updating and more staff to support the guests. Even the grounds were poorly kept. The positives: the TV worked, they give you soap and shampoo, pillows were okay, temperature control was good in the cabin, and our dogs were allowed to be there.
