No, but if you want a really amazing time in the cave then reserve a wild tour. You get to spend 4 or 5 hours underground with nothing to light your path except the light on your helmet.
Definitely no, but this is not a RUSHED tour. Quite a bit of time for pictures and looking at formations. The discovery tour is an hour and a half long. A GREAT cave!!!
You can see Mirror Lake and the falls without a guide but not the caves

No but the guides are friendly, informative and some have jokes and are great with interactions with kiddos.

No. Mostly due to the fact that it's imperative that nobody touches the formations. Also some of the lighting is guide controlled.
I don't think so but there is plenty to do at the park if a guide is a problem.....beautiful place to visit a one of a kind place the guide is worth it!!!
