No charge at gate if you're from Ct it's in our registration payment.
I always get there by 7am so I don't have to pay and to get a good spot/picnic table. They open the shack at 8am and stop all cars going in. They don't charge for parking if you are a resident in state parks but if they have a entrance fee per person you still have to pay to get in.
I don't think that the state is charging at state parks any longer, unless it's a state park campground.
