As above, simple restrooms. Also picnic tables and some shade. Advise not to use rest areas after dark. Use truck stops, there's a lot more truck stops than rest areas and they're a lot"safer" ! Most truck stops sell a small papeback book that list all the truck stops on the major roads. Essential for travel.
