Nice and neat station. Staff are friendly. This is the main hub station to go across states or ace amtrak to east. Staff keeps you posted on any delay and train notifications. Parking is right next to the station and will discount to $11 for full day if you show your ticket.

The station has been remodeled and is always clean. Now there is a sandwich shop connected to the station. Also there is a Starbucks next door. The trip was good, but it is starting to become busy again. Be sure to purchase tickets in advance.

Took a trip home from fresno to Portland Oregon. It wasn't packed at all enjoyed time with quietness and scenic views. From Klamath falls,bend Oregon and more along the way home.

Very clean and a really nice train ride. You are able to travel from the east bay all the way through Davis, the home of UC Davis to Sacramento the state Capitol

According to the Amtrak app, it's a couple trains and buses. So first you would take a connecting bus to Stockton, San Joaquin train from Stockton to Bakersfield, bus from Bakersfield to LA, then the Southwest Chief train to Albuquerque.

No they do not but if you're nice to the people behind the counter they will hold your bags for you for a couple hours while you wait for the train and you don't have to guard your stuff
Depends on the station. No charge in Hanford. Sacramento has metered/timed parking lot. Call or visit station website for specifics.
They have train and bus service to Stockton, Trains leave at 1230p and 530p Buses leave 610am , 805am, 950am
Just traveled from California to Maryland and they were all kinds of dogs not in carriers so they should be fine
25-30$ taxi ride. Distance not to far. Not close enough to walk though. Amtrak has a bus depot and train in Sacramento, in same area.

Not sure but you can get all the way across the United States with less than three hundred bucks
