Very helpful. We had a special dimmer we needed short notice. And no big box had anything. They have things you cannot get elsewhere. Lowe's and Battery and Bulb sent me there and they had everything I needed.

Rude inconsiderate said we were liars because the owner didn't know there is an electronics recycling center across the street at Republic Services Waste Management. I was there checking out Boy Scout and craft supplies and treated STRAIGHT POORLY!!! So disappointed

Vetco is now the only game in town for electronic supplies and hobby maker type projects. I am a professional and love the balance Vetco has found with both markets. I can buy a display for a raspberry pi project, or a FET with Vds of 2.5V for my more serious "other" project. One stop for nearly all my electronic project needs.

Have a Panasonic video camera from the mid-2000's that I lost the DC power plug and cord that goes from the AC wall-adaptor to the camera. First went to Fry's and the stock lady told me it needed a 1.7mm dc barrel connector on both ends and that they didn't have what I needed in stock and referred me to Vetco Electronics so I headed up there. The young guy managing the front counter was busy on the phone so finally the much older guy ask me if he could help me. I showed him the AC adapter, looked at it puzzled and said he would look and see what they had. After a few minutes, the the phone rang and he came back and said, "I don't think we have anything that fits that adapter" and picked up the phone. I waited thinking. Then after he was done on the phone he said "Sorry, we can't help you." I said "Ok, I'm going to go look and the lady at Fry's who sent me here said it was a 1.7 mm barrell." He followed me back to where he had been and said "Oh a 1.7 mm is a real odd duck size, I doubt we have anything." I started looking on the shelf and there were two whole racks of 1.7 mm barrels. He said I would have to soldier those myself and there is no way they would do it. Then up a little higher, I found a whole little box of 1.7 barrels with pig tails. I asked him if I could just get two of those and twist the ends together. He said "I suppose." I took two of those, paid a little over $6. When I got back to my office I twisted them together and the camera works perfectly. My whole experience with such a simple and common item was quite surprising. Based upon the inventory (one display had about 50 touch tone telephone key pads) and the lack of enthusiasm of the employees, seems like the store won't be around for a lot longer unless they are selling truck loads of tiny electronic parts to people who already know what they need.

I could check your device over. Who is the maker?
Have you checked vetco.net? They have various battery charger components available.
As safe as any store. Maybe more so as they are low volume
Different companies make different ones. Can you send a picture?
They don't repair equipment. They are a parts "house".
We normally do not stock it but we can certainly find you some. Shoot us an email and we will look into it for you. Say how long of a run you are looking for because last time we looked they came in 25' increments.
Not as far as I know. Calling them may be more helpful.
Not as far as I know, and no similar product shows up on their website. Your best bet would be to call them and ask directly.
