I've been with Virginia Mason for many years and I was happy but the quality has been deteriorating fast. During the last annual exam, the technician did not know how to draw blood and tried multiple times on my arm which caused a bruise. Now, my primary doctor moved to Concierge Medicine, which requires you to pay a big membership-like fee of $300 per month! which is not covered by insurance. This business model is offering the service I thought normal medical care should be offering. Now I'm left with no primary care doctor hence I need to look for a new one and Many of them are not accepting new patients.

I always have very pleasant experience’s with the Bellevue clinic, the old one on 8th and currently the new one on 4th, check in is a breeze… hmmm maybe I shouldn’t give rave reviews and keep this Gem to myself! But, actually, I’ve been to the other ones as well in downtown Seattle and over in Lynnwood and Edmonds and they are all great… from check in to seeing the doctor to even once a video appt as I was too sick to get out of bed! Took care of me right away! Love these caring doctors! I only hate going to downtown Seattle because of all the traffic and finding a parking… usually in Bellevue, Edmonds and Lynnwood it’s front row parking…

Don’t usually leave reviews, but I have to say - what a fantastic experience! I’m used to doctors offices being pretty awful places, unremarkable at best. But was so impressed with the folks there. Friendly staff, nurses, lab techs. The doc I was there to see, Christian West, was attentive and friendly and helpful. I felt heard, and I left feeling hopeful - which I rarely feel after seeing the doc! As a transman, I’m used to doctors office f-ing up my name or pronouns, and I’ve had other docs refuse to treat me because of their beliefs. I was expecting another painful experience, but every single staff member there got it right. They even double checked my pronouns! This should be the floor, not the ceiling of care - but it very much isn’t. Way to go, Virginia Mason! Thanks for raising the bar for good care!

I’m finally going back to Valley Medical after putting up with Virginia Mason for so long. Sending me to collections after they didn’t update my address (for $25), constantly messing up appointment dates and times, giving me wrong informed and then acting like I should have know that the information was wrong. Love my primary care doctor but it’s not worth it. The only reason I switched was because it is closer to my work. Should have stayed at Valley. Would NOT recommend the dermatology department. Rude staff with an attitude. I understand they are under pressure due to current situations but they don’t need to take it out on patients.
