Just about anything you can think of that you can do outdoors plus they're a lot of local things to do within 30 min to an hour drive
And now there is a disc golf course too!
There are trails you can walk to the lake , and get a map of the area where you can drive to many scenic areas

Skiing - downhill and cross country, lots of hiking trails 90+ miles, camping - modern, rustic and Backcountry, cabins, lodge, yurts, scenic overlooks, waterfalls, visitor center, nature programs, swimming, fishing, lots to see and do
Lake of the clouds and Summit peak are views from different sides of mountains. Summit peak is about a mile up and then steps. Presque Isle river, Waterfall hike is an easy trek along the North Country Trail. Plan to send time at the mouth of the river on the beach to enjoy lake Superior.
When I was there, we snowmobiled. Saw miles of hiking trails, campgrounds and I believe there were rental cabins.
This park has TONS of hiking options, you can camp, canoe, kayak, or even just drive to some beautiful places. Lake of the clouds overlook is an accessible vista atop a near vertical cliff that overlooks the gorgeous Lake of the Clouds. Check out their website for more info, I highly recommend a visit!
