I read that dogs are not permitted in tails. Does that also include the short trail to the view point. Thanks, in advance, for any help offered.

Dogs are allowed on some trails but must be on a leash. I would think as long as you comply with leash laws you wont have any trouble. Be careful of poisen Ivy and wild mushrooms.

Another reason to not bring your dog is lots of poison oak on the sides of the trails. It most likely won't affect your pooch, but the oils from this noxious weed could rub off on your best friend, and you or a other cuddle and pet him or her and misery follows.

I saw plenty of dogs on trails but i know you're not suppose to. So when coming in at the kiosk, they'll tell you. Sadly the are ones who just don't respect cleaning up.

It's a bummer dogs are not allowed at all when we went there some people brought their dogs from Oregon and their dogs got loose and lost in the park. Also there's extremely bad mosquitoes the most extreme like clouds of them the closer you get to the water and on the trails the worse it is so bring tons of repellent cover yourselves wear hats it's really bad
