Spacious trailhead. No overnight parking if you're thinking about sleeping there and hiking in the morning. We went up the road 5 minutes to Trumansburg and slept in the 12 hour lot just 1/2 block off main street. No bathroom either.

Nice parking lot. Quick walk to a nearby bridge, 100% worth the stop. Moderate traffic.

The trail makes for a great ride if you are willing to spend a couple hours biking 16 miles! If you start in Ithaca, it’s mostly flat all the way up, the slightest incline which isn’t hard to bike on at all. You can catch a glimpse of the lake through the trees, there is scenic farmland, and even a field full of buffalo! One of my favorite rec trails in the Ithaca area.
