Hello, I’d like to know if this lighthouse was the one that was used or portrayed in the 2014 movie “Need For Speed”? It would have been at the end of the big race near the end of the movie. It’s overlooking such a beautiful area. Thanks, Cathy

It is a beautiful area, and yes that was the lighthouse at the end of the movie.

David is right, the ending of the movie "Need for Speed" was filmed at the Point Arena Lighthouse. The 1992 film "Forever Young" and the 2014 Iranian-American romantic comedy (Shirin in Love" were also filmed at the Lighthouse, and we include DVDs of all of them in our 6 vacation rentals on the property.
