Had a great time learning from Christopher Young the park ranger that explained the whole battle and why it happened. He truly was the highlight of the event and of course the views. Christopher even stood after he was finished and talked with me my wife and our dog for 20 min answering more questions. I gave it five stars. If you are into American history this is a must see.

Great place to learn about the Civil War! Not congested and AMAZING views along with Park Ranger Christopher Young who knew his history and did an amazing job on our tour. He even went out of his way to talk to us afterwards. Go Visit!!!!

I went it wasn't closed, the visitor center closed really early but the park is open until dark. They have a pay box in the front and people may be walking around. I had an access pass and was told to just go in and have the pass available if asked.
