Yes you can camp there. There is only a limited number of spots so you want to look for a 48-hour reservation time. You also can have a fire on the beach. Great spot just did it a few days ago. Enjoy have fun. It is a state park.
I believe it is only for day use only, but your dogs can be completely off the leash.
I don't believe camping is permitted it's day use only although they do sometimes run youth programs where they camp overnight
