I bought a couple pair of New Balance shoes and like them. I've had good luck with New Balance. But as importantly, the courtesy extended from Luis was much appreciated. Thanks to Luis and management in the Big 5 store in Lakshore Plaza.

Over priced badly, slightly rude employee blocking door from us as we shopped like we're going to run out.... We weren't even.... Lol but that wasn't smart, if my man were to run out, I pity anyone trying to block him. He's got that ex con body. Poor manager would've got mowed down lol. Luckily it ain't like that.... Yes all big 5 stores point of sale registers are connected to the state license boards and can provide licenses with the exception of those who qualify for free license due to disability as you must provide documentation to the state for proof of eligibility.
They don't sell firearms so I would think not. Call store to confirm.
Close? For one it is a tiny excuse for a store. Second, it is at least a one hour drive through normal traffic, If you have a car. Because it is located on the opposite side of the city. Mere blocks from the zoo. The nearest decent sporting goods store would be the Sports Basement. Enjoy your visit, and breathe with your mouth, not your nose.
Yes, usually they are. Even though it ish a very small store. However I have learned that a Decathlon Sports store is opening in November at the Portrero Center. Which means that there will soon be a sporting goods store available to San Francisco that will have everything except guns and ammo.
