No bridge. Paved road inbound and to playing fields, Dirt roads to parking for beach. Great casual beach for those who dont want to travel or don't like crowds...but gotta bring you own food and bev. Worth it though..shhh don't tell anyone.

There was a bridge in the 30s that connected Buttonwoods and Oakland Beach I believe a train track also but all destroyed by hurricane in 38
