Two beaches there. One side has a lighthouse and a long sandbar where people have ventured out on it and it's been the seen of several recent drownings. That side of the beach during high tide the water can be very choppy and also has dangerous Riptides! Be super careful. That being said the beaches are very nice and there's usually plenty of parking. There's no dressing rooms or showers, to me that's a downside. They have portajohns to do #1 and #2. They recently started charging to park another bummer so I can only give 3 stars.

I love this beach. Because I turned 65, the nice girl gave me a 50% off pass which cost me $6. It wasn't crowded for a Sunday. I watched a fishermen catch a fish then threw it back in the water. There was a lot of seaweed in the shoreline. If you go futher out it was fine..

Nice quiet little beach with a small playground for the kids. Not great for swimming but nice for dipping your toes in as you beach walk. See a lot of people with dogs here, but it's a clean beach.

Rocky. Depending on the tide the waves can be very small or medium sized. I agree with the other comments, I wouldn't suggest swimming in the water. You can, but it is the bay.
There are bathroom during beach hours sometimes but there are also Porto johns unisex and handicapped
