Rocky. Depending on the tide the waves can be very small or medium sized. I agree with the other comments, I wouldn't suggest swimming in the water. You can, but it is the bay.

I would never swim in a Warwick Beach. Beautiful, but I would head to Newport or Narragansett for swimming.

Rocky. People do swim in it but it's more of the kind of beach to get a tan.
