Really nice park with a cute beach, dog park and beautiful walking trail. The only issue I have is the small playground near the softball fields. It’s really small and rundown. They used to have swings for the kids and for some reason they removed them. It would be wonderful if the city would invest in a better playground for the local kids.

My first time walking this trail was great. But today a very creepy guy kept “passing me again” in very quick succession. Then he was snapping pictures on his phone — at random, not aiming at anything in particular. Then he reversed course toward me, saying he just “wanted to say hi again”. I got off the path and took the roads back to the trail head — where he was lurking in the parking lot. I will never do this trail again.

I always gone to the beach at the city park but since covid started the city wants to get money somehow in the "economy" and I understand that, but what I don't like is that they have charge me and several of my friends and on several occasions 2 different prices. I have seen other people just go on the line pretty quickly. I hope they really check licenses who knows, anyways just saying.... I wished that for the money they charge they wouldnt allow dogs in there and have the prices list s at the entrance so it's consistent because I have paid up to $15 dollars at other beaches and I have seen better cleanliness. It's so sad that the only free refreshing site near us is getting taking away.

Pretty park with a flat surface and off the trail type walking. Lots of waterviews along the way to the beach at the mid point. One trash can along the trail which is better than so many in RI that have none. Lots of well marked trees showing the different types and kinds. Robin's gather in the woods and flip leaves over. Pretty water views along the entire perimeter. Not necessarily quiet between the airplanes, traffic, and dogs. Still, pretty none the less and a fun day hike. #RockFromRI #OneGratefulGuy
