I am early 60s and a little over weight to. Just tell her to go to Wal-Mart and imagine everyone without clothes. That's what she can expect. If she doesn't change her mind after going I will pay for her trip. Lol
We have all shapes and sizes here and we don't judge anyone here. If your girlfriend would try I'm sure she would feel comfortable in no time.
Not true. Everyone is very welcome, and all body types. Go once, try it out. You get over the nervousness in about 5 minutes.
There are tons of people ( no pun intended) that go out there that are obese and some morbidly obese.we don't stare at people.there are parapeglics,amputees...we are humans with all our faults.no one judges anyone...most people are retirees like myself in their late 50's and several in yheir 80's...some are retired because of medical issues and usually overweight.I'd say go to the website.find a "open to the public day " & go out there fully clothed and let us give you the tour.if she isn't comfortable after that then it's not for her..
It's nit what you look like. I have a brother and his wife live there. Late sixties. A great facility, great people
Its not about the way others look. And its not about judging anyone. Or them judging you. Its an experience that once you overcome the nervisness and realize that the conversation is still face to face. And not about your body. I highly recommend this resort.
Speaking as an overweight 53 year old what the gentlemen have said is true. No shaming and I have never felt uncomfortable. Take a chance you won't regret it!
Erik Stallings is correct. All are welcome and there is never any shaming. Once you visit for the first time and get pass all the nervousness you will definitely want to go back. I guarantee you will want to revisit or possibly become members. My wife and I love it and we back numerous time throughout the year. It's very calming, relaxing and stress free. Try it, you will love it.
