The wife and I hiked Max Patch last year and were thinking of going again this year. Can you camp at Max Patch, will you get fined or arrested?

Absolutely camp up top. Generally not right on the trail. Leave the very top clean so you don't mess up the view for anyone else.

You can camp..I go a couple times a year..it's a great place to watch the sunset
