There is not charge what so ever of any kind. If you can drive a decent size RV up the mountain I salute you. If you make it to the top... Park RV where you can, as far as I saw there are no restrictions.
There is no RV sites at the top of the mtn and there is no camping allowed at max patch. There are some basic camp sites starting up the mtn on the NC side of the mtn called harmen den exit. On the TN side coming up round mtn rd to max patch there is round mtn campground but I think there are no actual RV sites
There's only a very small parking lot (11 cars). I'm not sure you can even park a camper or RV there. The drive up to to the parking lot would definitely be nerve racking.
