There's a couple parking garages a block away that are cheaper.
Yes, there are in and out priviliedges and it's is extremely convenient if you are willing to pay a little more than neighboring lots (that might not have in and out). The garage staff is super friendly and very helpful. We had a AAA rate that gave 50% off parking rate.
There are lots pretty close that are much cheaper. The staff at the hotel is pretty nice and informative, I'm sure they will guide you where they are.
If you join their rewards program you can "pick a perk". Valet parking is one of them and a great deal
You can come and go as you like if you pay the overnight parking fee for the Hotel Monaco. That's the primary reason we paid their fare.
