Check in is at 1 p.m. Do you have to check in at 1 or can you later in the night like 7 p.m?

You can check in later. We prepaid online. If the guard shack is unoccupied, the camp host will come around and check you in. But gates close at 10PM

Later is fine

You can pay at the self pay station and three campsites are hosts who come and greet you. Also fyi there are 7 roaming dogs who track bears just so you aren't alarmed when they come to greet you as well. Have fun! An immaculate campsite!
