Great trip, the river was a good depth so we didn't need to walk kayaks at all. Highly recommend! Even rained a bit but had no issues.

Gorgeous scenery at bottom of mountain. Slow and steady upstream. Paddled against light current. Low water level. Had to walk kayak over some rocky patches against current. That was still fun! 6 hour trip turned into 2 hours (1 mile each way). Owners called in advance. We still went. Was refunded some $$. Kayaked to swimming hole. Could park and climb 25’ to top of huge Boulder and jump into 12-15’ of water. Great pictures. Downstream slow current. Nice calm paddling. No stops Very friendly owners. Watched informative instructional video beforehand. Great idea!

We did the 8-mile adventure kayak trip and had a blast. We were prepped with info on the route and driven to the drop point. We spent about 3.5 hours on the river, including a stop at the jump rock and swimming hole. Everyone really enjoyed the trip. Would definitely recommend!

We van camped for a night. Quiet and peaceful stream side site. Porta potties as clean as a porta potty can be. 🙂

There are two trips. One is an 8 mile paddle where they drop you off and then you end your paddle back at their site. The other is a 2 mile paddle up the river. Prices are on the website. Recalling from memory I want to say 50.00 and 40.00 but I am not positive.
Yes. I took one of those zip up cooler bags in my kayak for waters and snacks.
We booked two weeks before. However there was plenty of slots available for our day to book day of 🤷🏼♀️.
about 3 to 4 hours. Depending on recent rain, current and amount of paddling.
Yes you can they just charge you a fee for transport.
As of June 2020, according to the company they are not. This is because the company has a dog on their property (that they identify as one of their own dogs on their instagram) that they refuse to leash or keep restrained and has attacked dogs in the past (my dog, and I heard anecdotally after posting my story that this same thing happened 2 years earlier to another dog). This is NOT a dog-friendly company, campground, or kayak rental place. When I asked them to leash their dog (as is their policy for customers' dogs) they threatened to shoot it and got their gun out from another building. Do NOT bring your dogs here.
Yes, the spots that offer kayak tours will take it to the launch site for you, and drive you, for a very reasonable price
Hey Ash. We have two trips. When water levels are high enough (which is most of the time), we take groups of people from our campground/riverside take-out 8 miles upriver to a put-in and you float/paddle back to us on your own. It can take 3-8 hours depending on how fast you paddle and how long you stop. We just want you back before dark. If water is not high enough we do the "Swimming Hole" trip. You launch from our campground and paddle to a great swimming spot (or any place you want) and return to us when you are done. You have the boat for the day.
It is 8 dollars per person, per night for camping.
No hookups, open field or in the trees by the river. Very nice.
