What happened to this campground? They have always had minor issues, but nothing like now. We traveled 3.5 and They overbooked us , turned us away like we were nothing to them. They have no system for booking. No management! We’ve stayed here for the last 5 4th of July weekends. We Booked a year in advance. We called 3 weeks ago to confirm. I felt that was best , since I see where others have issues to where they overbook. Or simply kick guests out early. I’m simply disgusted. Never again!!!!!!!! No regard for people. No apologies! Nothing! This treatment is deplorable. I set here crying trying to type this. Thinking We will leave a wonderful review , only to be a nightmare! Shame on you Laurel Lake.

We love this place! We have camped here before a couple of years ago and loved the campground but the staff not so much. This time we decided to give it another try and I’m so glad we did. We are camping here until the end of September. The new staff is so friendly and they have things for kids to do and fun activities every weekend. Highly recommend!

We stopped by here on our way South in early March. Campground had lots of availability. Large level spots. Bath house was nice and clean. Camp hosts were great. We liked it so much, we stayed an extra day to enjoy the area and relax.

Where is the tent section? Is there one? Not happy with our stay at all. It looks so different on the website. I agree with other campers. The positive reviews have to be from them writing it themselves. I notice they all just so happen to know all the staffs name. We as paying customers Know there is very minimal staff.
