Our family stayed here the month of July. The site for the camper was great. There was a patio, swing, grill, fire pit and lots of trees for shade..a beautiful setting. The pool was so nice and clean. A playground included a large wooden swing set with several slides and activities in this area, including a jump pad. This area of the campground also had corn hole, horse shoes, shuffleboard and putt putt. The entire staff made us feel like family. Needless to say…our family, including a toddler, enjoyed our time at Mt. Vernon KOA.

Would never camp here again. Booked a sewer site and wasn't given one, the bathrooms were disgusting, the manager was unpleasant - she caused a major scene at the pool. This placed needs updated, it's not worth the price you pay.

On a long Harley ride. Checked in last min. After hours. Lady at the desk was so sweet. Jack helped us out with a few thinks , great guy !! Checked on later b4 he was don't for the night. Great little stop to rest after 12 hours on the road.

Arrived up a very steep drive. Speeds bumps 3 of them just awful. WOW. Booked 3 nights with Patio. Pulled into site 31 and not a patio site. About broke my ankle with such a drop off out our door. We had to build up our step to get in. First thing they said was city had a water main break and boil our water so we went to store and bought 3 gallons of water jugs. A view pulled in next to us and we got talking late and they were talking about the water and said they should of given us a discount. I said they charged us 85.00 a night for 3 night each night and they said they charged them 65.00. Really. The next morning my husband went down and inquired with the lady why we paid that amount and she said that was the rate for a patio site and he said we didn't get a patio site. She said too late to complain. You have to come with in a hour of checking in and they would of adjusted but not the next day!! The water pressure was so low you have to turn your pump on to to take a shower. Channels for local news etc. you could barely view. So very disappointing but have to say it was very quiet place. We have crossed this off a next time visit and will not go back. I can't believe they'd charge us that amount and the people next door 20.00 less. Seems she could of adjusted but will be writing this also to head quarters office. Dave & Julie

Did ANY of the respondents actually read the Lady's question?!?!!? I of course do not remember. However you can check the KOA website or call them directly. It's not as bad as they say. It's not the newest KOA, but it has handicapped showers they try to make the bathrooms cozy. It's waaay up on a hilltop too. The staff were very friendly as well. We had booked earlier in the day and informed them that we would be arriving late. No biggie at all. Either way enjoy your camping 🏕 experience ☺

You were at one time allowed to swim for $5 Mon-Thurs ,but they put an end to that this Summer in 2019! You must rent a cabin to swim at the pool no exceptions. This the first year they've behaved this way towards the public but that's how businesses associated with Renfro Valley behave more and more. The hotel is no better, they despise locals of any kind.
Yes it does have pull throughs... however, the have multiple price options if you contact them
