Great campground. We used the electric RV site and enjoyed it. Close to the bathhouse. No sewer or water hookups but we filled up water at the bathhouse so that worked for us. Close to lots of activities. Not really scenic but it was quiet and shady. Bathhouse was clean and large.

I was looking online trying to decide on a cabin that was affordable for at least a couple nights. I came across this place by accident and checked out the website. The price was like crazy cheap! I then e-mailed him and he got back to me in no time. He (ray) answered all my questions and concerns. I couldnt find where to reserve a cabin online so he just made a note that I would come there and pay apon arrival. Once I got there he was super nice and talkative and easy to get to know. He showed me to stay in Paps Cabin and it was a perfect fit for myself! If your looking to stay close to the Gorge and on a budget and dont need all the WiFi and modern things, this place is for you!

Best campground! My girlfriend and i came to climb for a week or so... and before i knew it i did not want to leave. Dren is the best!! Facilities are very nice, and clean. Bathrooms, showers, electrical and hook ups - large space. Several areas to set up camp, cabins or hitch a tent. We had a blast and heading down to the red river gorge. [i do not want to go... but as they aay happy wife happy life.] Cannot wait to come back!! The lakes and the climbing in the area is magnificent - it is a pleasure to see people from all over the united states and the world.
