Garfield park is very stunning and well-cared for. What a gem for the city!

Awesome place to visit during winter months. Very well kept conservatory. Plenty of places to sit down and just enjoy the view. I definitely will be back during the summer to enjoy the outdoor portion.

No. Annoying
I got married in the Jenson room of the conservatory. I think I gave maybe a week notice.
I dont think so? I was there in October.
There is no admission fee right now at the outdoor gardens (indoor is closed), just a suggested donation
As long as you have a few chaperones so you don't lose the kids, yeah! It's a maze but it's super awesome and educational
Yes but you need to call ahead and schedule a reservation

Hi! You may have to reach out to the library/organization that partnered with us to do it. Thank you for the kind words!
Yes! And the Conservatory is wheelchair accessible, except for the Fern Room. A limited number of wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Visitors using wheelchairs and those who are otherwise unable to climb stairs may enter the Conservatory at the Main Entrance, 300 N. Central Park Ave., via the North or South ramps. For more information contact us at 773-638-1766.

The Garfield Park Conservatory is a large indoor green house. There are no places to swim, just plants to look at. I think this question is meant for the Garfield Park Pool, which is near the Conservatory but affiliated. I would contact Chicago Park District Swimming Pools for that information.
But they may not be open, as the indoor space is currently closed.

Sorry we're just getting this! You can learn more about a visit here: https://garfieldconservatory.org/visit/
I don't work for the park but I think that you can call the Garfield park conservatory. They should know.
Only in some rooms, and our outdoor gardens are open: https://garfieldconservatory.org/visit/
Sorry we're getting to this late! See dates of past shows here: https://garfieldconservatory.org/exhibits/
Yes
Yes from 9am to 5pm
I took my engagement photos in the conservatory 12 years ago and there was no permit fee. We did end up leaving a donation for the conservatory anyway, since it's something we do whenever we visit. Our donation was a bit more that time around though. I feel that if you aren't going to inhibit natural flow through the conservatory or have a bunch of equipment, the donation should be fine.
Yes, you can. There is no place to eat lunch or something like that. But you can take snacks out of your backpack and eat while you walk
Yep, they have free parking in the Visitor's Lot right next to it: https://garfieldconservatory.org/visit/
Yes, there are a few areas that you can't get to via wheelchair (due to historical preservation reasons) but you can access the majority.
Ok thank you very much I will take it into account we will arrive early happy afternoon
All rooms since the terrace is outside
They are open every day, you have to register online and it is completely free. You can give a donation if you wish.
No, not right now. But you do need to make a reservation online
Actually, if I'm not mistaken, It wouldn't cost you again.... I think you must comply to their expectations and rules and regulations.... Tried calling them on Tomorrow and I get back to you with more details
