You just use the access road. There are several parking areas and it seems to be first come first serve. The signs say no swimming or gas powered boats. I did however see several people swimming anyways.

Is there dispersed camping here? Like, free camping that is free and along a forest service road or dirt road? Usually there's like one or two primitive sites every quarter mile or so?

Why does Google maps say this forest is temporarily closed? Can anyone who recently visited confirm its open. The park website mentions some of the recreation areas or campgrounds are closed but the park itself is open.
