Have only hiked part way up the creek trail and found it lovely each time. Lots of trillium the first time. Lots of smaller flowers since.

Beautiful park. Nice wide trails to explore. The trails are really pretty as you walk along side a creek under the canopy of tall trees and surrounding ferns.

I know an old timer from the area and although he didn't know about the car, he said that a road went through there at one point. I can't recall if he said it connected Corvallis to Camp Adair or if it was Kings Valley to Corvallis. Anyway, he said he travelled it frequently. He called the area the canyon which started at Maxfield Creek Road.
