Nice day for a ride. Craig's creek was stocked. Water low and slow.

Words can't explain how special these mountains are in the George Washington and Jefferson Forest are to me. They have something for everyone whether you're backpacking, fishing, canoing, kayaking, etc. Not to mention, the Blue Ridge Parkway is also really close. Photo's are of Mount Pleasant, Cole Mountain, and plus the Appalachian Trail goes right through these mountains.

Checking out some beautiful fall foliage at it's peak! Spectacular sky views! Just a few local spots within The Jefferson National Forest. Won't be long before the colder weather moves in and The White Tail Bucks know it! Take care when driving, especially more rural areas. The deer are definitely on the move...

I decided to mark something off my bucket list which was to cruise the Blue Ridge Parkway and visit The overlooks. If you're coming from the Roanoke Valley area phone Oak Valley area and are looking for just game for just an easy little getaway I would highly recommend Lee recommend cruising the Blue Ridge Parkway especially during the fall months. You will not be disappointed with the array of colors that you are greeted withAnd a sense of adventure withoutHaving to go deep into the mountains or on a hike.

Not sure the park it pretty vast
I77 runs through it as well
It depends on what you're hunting for, contact local wildlife conservation center.
Seems like conflicting reports. DNR says yes, so I guess they would have final say.
As far as I know I don’t think you’re technically supposed to
