They installed a gate to limit parking to guests, and now there is a charge. Although when a friend brought us there she merely got her ticket validated. Budget for parking, just in case. The hotel is worth staying at, regardless.
It depends where you made the reservation. If through embassy, then 24 hrs in advance. If through priceline, booking, etc. probably more difficult
If you're in and out in a couple of hours, there's no charge. They validated our parking as a guest without us having to pay.
