Loud and not a safe location. Room and towels smelled very musty.. Must use key card/buzzer to even enter the building to check-in... love Comfort Inn but this one we will skip!!

Positive: Rooms and facility were very clean and eye appealing. Staff was helpful and friendly. Negative: The neighborhood was kind of rough looking and could be a turnoff to the casual traveler. The city of Portland is having a serious problem with homeless individuals, and it showed up in the neighborhood visual evaluation.

We’ve stayed at this location twice now. The first time was last year and it was amazing. The service was incredible, the staff was nice, and our room was great. This most recent time, however, we were not impressed. Upon checking in, the staff member that greeted us seemed to be in a bad mood. They didn’t give us any information on the pool or breakfast. They merely handed us our key and then went into the back. The pool and hot tub were open and it was nice, can’t say anything for the coffee or breakfast as we didn’t know the times and were more interested in other local breakfast options anyways. Our room was not great. It was clean and comfortable, but the door was very loose on the hinges. If any of the doors for rooms next to us were shut, it would rattle ours. We shouldn’t need to feel like we need to put our bags in front of the door in order to keep it from swinging open. Overall, the experience was okay. We expected much better as the previous times we’ve stayed were great. I guess hospitality flies out the door when Covid restrictions aren’t as high.
