My stay was ok , the hotel is older then it seems in the photo's and my room had a smell as of either exhaust from the street traffic or possible it was once a smoking room. Also i had a room facing Holladay.st which is really noisy with the tram/trolly bells ringing every 10 mins or so late into the evening and again early am. Can't blame the hotel for public transit development but if you are light sleeper. I suggest a room off the street side. Parking is crazy around the hotel so i also suggest to get a hotel parking pass. The rates where fare but for the location/noise and the age of the hotel plus parking, there maybe better options a few blocks away .

Tolerable, "minimalist" hotel. Rooms are dated, but reasonably comfortable. North side rooms are kind of noisy, due to the Max tracks. South side much better. On-site parking ($10/nite). No food. Some restaurants nearby -- Citizen Bakery in Hotel Eastlund has good breakfast. And Denny's (ugh). Wifi pretty bad. Great location for convention center, and downtown quite accessible. Overall, worth the price.

You get what you pay for. Yes it's a bit old but that contributes to the overal atmospshere in my opinion. The bedroom was very clean and good but the bathroom was showing it's age. The location is fantastic and walking to downtown is doable.

The hotel is definitely showing it's age. It's dingey, and the bathrooms were not cleaned well at all. BUT, the staff was great! 🤗 They gave a ton of recommendations on activities, and food. They were always nice and welcoming. It is also in a pretty great location. In walking distance from a lot of great places. It was perfect for what we needed it for. The rooms also had all of the amenities you would need.

Advance. It is not large, it very near the convention center, and is attractively priced. It is, or was, a little shabby. Book early!
