They were trying to buy tiger fish, but the order was messed up in processing. Had to make due, as all sales are final with tigers.

Yes they do. From Sumatra, they have webbed paws, which enhances their swimming abilities. Thus they were included in the aquarium.

Since Denver is inland the layout of the exhibits was designed to show the entire progression of a river system. It flows all the way from coral reefs, through shore and wetlands, up rivers and streams (which includes river otters), canyons with flash flooding, and India river systems which includes tigers. Is it unique and educational? Yes. Is it a bit of a stretch to get tigers into an aquarium exhibit? Also, yes.
