Its a great tour and there may be things like the panning fir gold ir going diwn the road a few hundred feet to look at old mine stuff that are truly accessible... But the mine itself is damp and muddy. I personally would not take a wheelchair or scooter in there.
No it is not I would have to say most mine tours are not handicapped ♿ accessible because of the terrain inside!
We are proud to be a (mostly) accessible tour for those using wheeled personal conveyance but there is one area you cannot access due to stairs. Also be prepared for some mud and terrain equivalent to a forest road to negotiate. You will see impressive gold ore veins along the way, all geology and history is explained and 90% of the tour route is accessible. The Hidee Mine's gold ore is accessible from a chair at the upper level (above the steps) with some reach so hand-mining your sample from a chair is possible and encouraged!
There are many areas with very steep stone stairs and rough terrain. He would be able to participate in probably the first 20 minutes of the tour where there is a smooth dirt floor.
I would call and ask them. If I recall they said you could go into a certain distance and then they wouldn't let you go any further. Definitely will not be able to make it to end of tunnel
The first part of it would be but it is muddy and the mud is quite sticky the last third or so has stairs

Do they offer panning for gold? If you find it can you keep it? What are the covid-19 rules?
