Our neighbor passed away suddenly in April and while she was in hospice my wife and I took care of her seven cats. When she died we were tasked with finding them homes. Hannah was especially helpful in assisting us with this emotionally draining task. We are so very grateful these sweet cats were adopted and found homes. Thanks Hannah!

I cant find any way to let them know that "poochie" (renamed Ruby bc she didnt answer to that:) is doing fantastic. She is the SWEETEST girl ever and has fit in perfectly with us! I literally cannot say how much we love her and she is definitely HOME. The staff was great during the adoption process. I cant remember her name but our person (thin, dark hair) gave us a good idea of each dogs personality so we could find one right for us. Thank you. We are doing great. Keep up the good work.

They were very helpful and very polite. They helped me find the perfect kitty Bean. He is so adorable and very loving. They answer all my questions.I would recommend this facility to anyone. Best place to adopt a pet. This is Bean having fun with his toy teddy bear and grown up.

They do a beautiful job. I took my Beloved Sheltie Christopher there for his shots in October, and was so impressed with the doctor & staff, that when he passed from a hidden/unknown cancer in February, I took him there for cremation. They used a cremation service provider from Spring Hill. I chose a beautiful box for his ashes with a photo frame on the front. They've always been great there. And it was very affordable.
How much does it cost to bring a 15 year old cat in to either adopt or put down
Omg. No, you can’t have a puppy that needs a lot of exercise and training at that age when you already have extremely limited mobility.
Those toys sound like they’re good to go! Just make sure that there aren’t any staples or plastics
Try going to one of the clinics they have shots for pets very inexpensive
Hello Debi! If you visit our website, http://www.humanesocietyofpinellas.org/adoptable-dogs you will see all dogs that are currently available for adoption at our shelter! We process new animals everyday, and have all types of breeds and personalities at our shelter!
Yes they do. Towels, washcloths, comforters, bed sheets. Pretty much everything except pillows.
There are sick and evil people in this world.
In Pinellas County, neither the SPCA nor the Humane Society has legal jurisdiction. We would immediately report something like this to Pinellas County Animal Services. I would recommend immediately reporting this Pinellas County Animal Services 727-582-2600. http://www.pinellascounty.org/animalservices/animal-cruelty.htm
Yes they do. Not sure how much but when I had strays fixed it was $10 and an ear clip to let anyone know that they were already fixed.
HSP has a surrender fee of $50 for dogs and cats, $75 for litters of puppies or kittens and $25 for small animals, such as rabbits and hamsters.

Hello Dee, I am sorry for any miscommunication! Right now we are limiting the traffic at our facility due to the state of emergency so we are asking that only those individuals interested in adopting visit our shelter. We encourage all visitors to visit our website https://www.humanesocietyofpinellas.org to see if there are any furry friends that they are interested in first. Please stop by when we reopen on Thursday (we are closed Wednesdays) and we would be happy to have you meet a potential new furry family member.
15 but they do not handle the animals. Here is a link to the volunteer info. https://www.humanesocietyofpinellas.org/volunteer

Hello Michelle, we have over 28 partner shelters across Florida and into other states, however we pull animals from them to give them and bring the animals to our shelter! Our average length of stay on our adoption floor (meaning how long an animal is available for adoption before finding a home) is 4 days!
Hello Emma, we have a teen volunteer program that starts at the age of 15! To view all of our volunteer opportunities, click http://www.humanesocietyofpinellas.org/volunteer
You would need to call and talk to admissions and make appointment.
Please visit our Volunteer webpage at http://www.humanesocietyofpinellas.org/volunteer for more information and to apply!

Hello Michelle, our spay and neuter pricing can be found at http://www.humanesocietyofpinellas.org/spayneuter-services!
Pinellas County Animal Services handles licensing and registration of ownership. And you would also want to update the microchip records with a microchip company
The Humane Society of Pinellas participates in the TNVR program. You can call during business hours for more information on feral cats and the services, I'm not sure if it's completely free but they definitely have a mission to help sterilize and release feral cats.
No roosters contact farm animals.
We do accept donations of medical gloves, yes! My apologies, I am not sure what an underpay is though. You can find our donation wish-list at http://www.humanesocietyofpinellas.org/our-wish-list!
Humane society pet clinic
The Humane Society of Pinellas is the largest no kill shelter in Pinellas County! We are dedicated to providing individualized care for every animal that comes our way and we ensure that every treatable animal is treated. This means we have made a promise to our community that no animal will be euthanized for a treatable condition. We hope you join us in helping Pinellas County move towards being a no-kill community where every treatable animal is given a second chance. If surrendering the animal remains your only option, you may submit a surrender application that is reviewed by our Admissions Department. Because of our “no time limit” policy, HSP admits animals dependent on space and resources. For this reason, the Admissions Department admits animals by appointment only and must review your application before HSP can care for your pet. More information and the surrender application can be found at http://www.humanesocietyofpinellas.org/pet-surrender.
Please contact our Pet Clinic for pricing, they can be reached at 727-791-6782!
You can fill out an application on the website and someone in Admissions will contact you.
All dogs that are available for adoption are listed on the website.
Cody you need to go to the website and complete a surrender application.
Thanks for the info. Hes 10, a support dog with a great personality. I took him to animal control they said if no adoption by 10 days they would euthanize. I just couldnt riskno adoption because of age. If i could id keep him, but circumstance wont let me! So thanks again for all the info!
Yes they do at the clinic up the road in the mission hills plaza very reasonable
You need to submit a surrender application which is located on their website and they will make an appointment for you to bring the dog in. There is a surrender fee. The info is on the website.
Ok thx
I wouldn't do another treatment. The vectea will kill the fleas when they come in contact. It just takes a little time.
I'd recommend calling on Mon to see if they'll euthanize your dog and to get the price.
Call the HSP clinic for the correct answer to this. http://www.humanesocietyofpinellas.org/pet-clinic.
You can view all adoptable animals on the website: http://www.humanesocietyofpinellas.org
Surrenders to the Humane Society are by appointment only. You can find more information on the website. Animal services is open admission though.
Suncoast animal league... Palm harbor..is closer.... Or humane society in Clearwater at 590 and McMullen booth
You need to call the Humane Society specifically and ask them.
Yes! You can drop them off during business hours in the Adoption office or just leave them outside the office if they are closed.
Pls call it depends on the weight of the dog or cat
I believe the Humane Society in Tampa responded, not the one in Clearwater.
The Humane Society is not an open admission shelter. You would need to fill out the paperwork on the website and schedule an appointment to surrender her.
4 on weekends, 6 during the week
Thank you! HSPs wish list... http://www.humanesocietyofpinellas.org/our-wish-list/
There may be online
Their price list is on their website but it looks like around $50.00.
Carole I would call the admissions department tomorrow when the shelter reopens.
It would be best to contact them directly to see what animals they have available. Animals come in and get adopted daily.
Good advice. No it is not a kill shelter. Really great people there.
You can check on their website for dogs that are available for adoption. http://www.humanesocietyofpinellas.org/adoptable-dogs/
Are you asking about surrendering the dogs?
Your cat will know you. If you go and can show pictures with markings they may But they keep the ones in an area not for adoption that were just turned in as lost. Yes they will name them if they have to put up for adoption. Be careful about putting fingers in cages as I got bit so bad was in hospital 4 days and an operation. 😑
Always have different ones
You can see the services offered and prices on their website. http://www.humanesocietyofpinellas.org/low-cost-pet-clinic/
It varies.
No
You can view the services offered on the website http://www.humanesocietyofpinellas.org/low-cost-pet-clinic/
I am not sure. I would contact the Humane Society for a price. Maybe tell them your situation and see if they can give you a discount, or recommend you to a place that works on a sliding scale or for free.
Humane Society of Pinellas has a surrender fee of $50 for dogs and cats, $75 for litters of puppies or kittens and $25 for small animals, such as rabbits and hamsters. The average shelter animal can cost our shelter on average $400-$600 per animal. As a donation only based facility, this small fee for your surrender assists with these costs.
Depends if they get them in. I am not sure if they see any other counties.
You would have to call or check their website. It is a shelter with dogs coming in and getting adopted daily. So you never know what type of dog will be there.
I don't think so. I would contact the Humane Society for an exact answer.
I'm not sure. I would call and ask them directly.
Best to go and see in person.
I am not sure. I would contact the Humane Society for further information.
That is a very good question
List him on a site called "Get your pet"
To do what???
I know I have had it done to strays but think a pet is about 50 or so
No take there and tell them where you found it
It cost me $55.00 total. He has his shots and is neutered. Alot less expensive than doing it through my vet for a free kitten. They have a very large selection and the animals are healthy
Call them direct I would say they have to.
We paid $35.00 to adopt a female cat that was already spayed and had a lot of her shots. She had been wormed etc.
Google rescue groups for that breed.
The humane society doesn't do that. It would be the SPCA
For my cat it was 70 and if you want creamaton I think another 70
Call shelter
Yes and most of the time for $10 they will do it clip ear and you can let back go
Yes, call them first
Go to the caterie, check out what's there, take at least $50.00 with you. All the kittens or cats are spayed or neutered already plus they have their first shots and are chipped and ready to go.
Yes they are
They can use all you can give. I pick up items at estate sales on the last day and you can get very good prices. Don't forget am out the cat adoptions here in Safety Harbor also. Fantastic Organization
Rub on coat.
The shelter have a program to help people in your situation, with food , litter n other things. You need to fill the application at the shelter.
Call and see if taking in and check for chip
Call animal rescue and they may be able to give you s name of some one that can get it and make it all better 🤞🤞🤞🤞
If yours check with vet. But something that works for me a just a few drops depending on how much hair use PURE TEA TREE OIL. So much better than chemicals. I get mine from Amazon LARGE bottle 10.00 It will work.
Usually a small amount.
Ice cold water. Make sure to give him water whenever he needs it.
I can't help you much there, maybe try google?
Well you obviously need a homing fee but then you have to give it shots but then you will get a forever friend.
I believe it's a appointment because getting shots is kinda like a doctors appointment.
Of course not it is a no kill shelter they just have to get used to their new homes and it takes several hours to do this
