The Humane Society of Pinellas is the largest no kill shelter in Pinellas County! We are dedicated to providing individualized care for every animal that comes our way and we ensure that every treatable animal is treated. This means we have made a promise to our community that no animal will be euthanized for a treatable condition. We hope you join us in helping Pinellas County move towards being a no-kill community where every treatable animal is given a second chance. If surrendering the animal remains your only option, you may submit a surrender application that is reviewed by our Admissions Department. Because of our “no time limit” policy, HSP admits animals dependent on space and resources. For this reason, the Admissions Department admits animals by appointment only and must review your application before HSP can care for your pet. More information and the surrender application can be found at http://www.humanesocietyofpinellas.org/pet-surrender.
