While all 30 units are STUDIOS often there are "Couples" or live in caretakers and such.It is not a flat no.And the studios are roomy in a 4 year old building.
I would look at the VHA web site and sign up.I have found not all properties match what VHA might describe.Example: Across my lot, The Elwood was built for about 40 rooms and there are singles, couples, families: complete mix.I was told it is sober living as far as that goes and hence what I think is the allowance of families and kids.Meriwether Place I have not seen children long term or of a young age. A lot of residents have children who may stay with a former partner or what have you.Check the Housing Authorities web page as Vancouver has many types of low income living options.
Essentially NO.Many from my understanding are so it's important to communicate with the Vancouver Housing Authority or follow leads.Wait lists, drawings, code recommendations and various processes exist. It usually in my understanding is not a walk in then walk out all in 1 day to a new low income home.Vancouver is building several new living properties for those of us in need. We have multiple public libraries that have computers for timed free usage should you need that help to start.
