Love this beach! It's never too busy. It's not very rocky. You can park on the street or in the parking lot for $9.

Nice quiet beach overlooking the Pacific Palisades, away from the crowds of Santa Monica and Venice. The beach was very clean and much wide open space to enjoy 365 degree views of your surroundings. Parking is super easy and the tranquility is peaceful compared to surrounding beaches.

Nice beach with clean restrooms. Snack bar at the beach. Lots of space and some volleyball courts. Paid parking or free on the street up the canyon.

Great place to just chill and let the day pass you by while listening to the calming Beach. Take some kind of shade and snacks. If your able to stay for the sunset it’s totally worth it.

Yeah although the best time of day i have found to get in the water is around 3 -4 in the afternoon.
Within reason and yes there are volleyball
No, this is not a dog friendly beach. Lifeguards are pretty on top of things here. I haven't seen anyone with their dogs either.
There are signs saying no dogs allowed because people dont clean up after their pets. Nut yes there are dogs running wild in the water and on the beach.
I believe it's $12
Shouldn't be a problem
Yes definitely. Ive been wanting to myself but im not that experienced yet
I think there are signs posted prohibiting dogs. But I still see them occasionally and no one makes a commotion over it...ever.
Not unless you happen to be an infant or toddler :-)
No, it is not free. They charge per hour today. It is packed
You can Surf fish but is really a beach to enjoy with an umbrella, towels and the ocean.
Yes, you can but entrance is narrow to get in.
There are parking lots that require a fee at a pay station. Your receipt goes in your window so you don't get a ticket
I read you can bring a propane grill it must be 18" off the ground. But no charcoal grill
I think 7 or 8am
No, you can't.
Probably, check their website
The beach maybe but I believe there are time restrictions on the parking
Only assistance dogs for the disabled.
The biggest thing is that there is alot of seaweed and the waves are strong but other than that no
Yes there's a ramp and path for you on the beach.
You might wanna check with Beaches and Harbor
Parking is available right up to the sand. The disstance to the water is dependent on whether the tide is in or out and what time of day it is.
Not sure but we left around 5 and there are still a lot of people coming in
There are signs that say "No dogs"......but you will see dogs on the sand beside thier owners. To date, i have only seen small dogs on the beach, usually bigger dogs are seen walking on the pathways with thier owners. If you go with your dog, remember you have to pay for parking beside the beach, so park outside, that way if someone tells you dogs are not allowed on the sand, you don't lose your money.
Yes.
No, but Santa Monica does.... It is a few miles beside it....can't miss it, ferris wheel, lots of people, stores...
You can probably find street parking somewhere in the vicinity, but traffic on PCH is pretty treacherous. I recommend the paid parking lot. It's safer and WAY closer.
No grill's are allowed on yhe beach. You can bring anything else except alcohol and grills.
No overnite camping. Will need to go north/west to at least Point Mugu
Email them and youll get a quick response
This is the 'Baywatch Beach'. The series headquarter was replaced by a new building for the LA lifeguards. But you can still see the landscape and outside the building was a Baywatch Dorie when I was there in 2013. It's really amazing!
This is definitely a question for the Parks & Recreation folks. One would think a brief gathering of 10 minutes of 30 people could be done in conspicuously, but you better double check.
Yes, if you are lucky to find an empty spot, it is free.
No
Yes you can.
The lifeguard station warnings say no. In Ventura County it has been ok to have bonfires etc
