The staff at SE Works are very attentive and helpful. There is patience and compassion to help people understand and go through a number of different programs they offer. I highly recommend going here if you need help with job assistance, resume building, cover letters, their roads to success program is awesome and informative

I met with James about a low income Trimet pass. He, and all the other staff there, were very kind and respectful and efficient.

The review & rating is for the GED program only!! Great experience with the job seeking opportunities! I'm not one to place bad reviews, or any at all! Sorry it's so long. Here's my experience....I've been getting the runaround for a year! I have 17yr old twins who've been Homeschooled...and "are too smart for the prep classes, they tested College level in all subjects, and coming to class would be redundant"...even though I've asked for one of them to attend classes for daily structure, I was told the above quote. Now this week after 'break' (now that the one person we met with is ni longer there) I was told that "the kids need to get re-established and come in for tutoring so they can be re-entered into the program, and take placement tests to see where they're at". OMG I'm so fed up, I have 2 kids who are more than ready to test out, get their GED's and move on, but they're telling us to start all over!! I have never even seen these people who are now in charge, until now (still I've only spoken to them)...twice we had appointments for the GED tests and they "didn't have us on the schedule"....pure incompetence. We've never seen a bus pass, or any of the perks they mentioned (college prep, resumé writing, etc.). I've always felt we didn't qualify, but wasn't told why. I'm going to go there to try & resolve this....hopefully...again, so the kids don't have to go through placement testing again. If I waste another day there, we're going elsewhere. This is ridiculous!!

Everyone was really helpful, kind, funny, and really human. I had no idea how many free services they have. I'm planning to take advantage of as many as I can.
