Beds and comfy pillows could be more fluffier but all was good we where here because of the hurricane 🌀 and the it was safe. But what when I was going to check out at 3pm on Thursday they still had the elevator down due to the weather being windy. Ask the man at the front desk if he could have somebody turn it on because the young lady in the morning said that that would be no problem. The response that I got was that he was the only one there and then he could not leave the desk in order to do so. My mother is 79 years old and had a hard time going down the stairs they were wet I'm so glad that she did get down them without a problem or falling she took it very carefully. I just think that that part of my state should have been a little bit more professionally handled then saying that he was unable to leave the desk.

Stayed for 6 nights. Our first room had a broken wardrobe and therefore no where to put our clothes. Maintenance came and only fixed one of the two problems with the wardrobe meaning some of it was still unusable. The next day we mentioned it again and were moved rooms. The next morning we awake to water all over the floor due to a leak in the wall/floor. We were moved rooms again. Third room had no issues which was lucky because we were bunkered down there for 2 days due to hurricane ian. They managed to keep the breakfast running during this time which was nice (not that the breakfast is a good continental breakfast). There was no flooding or damage caused due to the hurricane besides the internet cutting out. If you do stay here try to stay in the back building as the front building has terrible internet (keeps disconnecting) and smaller bathrooms. With all these issues we weren't offered any compensation or help moving rooms. Probably worth staying in the best western down the road.

Why can't I pick zero? Made reservations. Evacuated from Bradenton for hurricane ian Turned us away because our dogs are more then 15 pounds. Couldn't find another opening. Had to return to the coast near landfall Governor asked hotels to allow people with pets to escape the danger. Thanks best western you suck. Never again. And I will share this with any and everyone.

Positive: - Very good location, close to the parks and bus stops. - There is a small fridge / freezer and microwave in the room so you can have a quick meal if you have your own plates and cutlery Negative: - the room was dirty when we arrived, full of hair. The rooms are supposed to be cleaned every 2nd day, when it didn't happen, we asked reception, no apologies, but at least the day after they cleaned the room. - the aircon is so loud, make sure you have earplugs and water was constantly leaking from it - the staff is rude - breakfast is horrible. The problem wasn't that it's a continental breakfast, it could have still been nice. There wasn't any fresh vegetables, only oranges and bananas. Otherwise everyone was just sugar / corn syrup and processed meat. If you are vegan, bring your own veggies, because you will only be able to make a toast and eat the sugary oatmeal (if you bring your own milk).

the hotel is 7 minutes from walmart uber charges 8 to 10 dollars, there is a route that takes you to wallmart but i advise you uber, at wallmart there is free wifi.
No need for shuttle as Universal park is less than a mile from this hotel. There is a Dennys near by and a KFC.

In fact, there's no "private" balcony on the rooms , but once you open your room door you will find yourself on a long hallway that kind of resembles what you can call a "balcony". By the way, don't expect any meat on the breakfast menu. Don't get me wrong, they serve a quite decent breakfast but you won't be able to get ham, sausage, bacon, etc.

The hotel is located behind Universal Studios approx 2 min, Sea World is approximately 5 min away and Disney is about 15 min from the hotel. For Disney and Universal the hotel offers transfer schedules are in the hotel lobby
